Devious Journal Entry

I was really inactive the last few weeks. I checked my messages, but didn't respond. I looked at photos, but didn't feel like commenting.

I somehow felt like I have got stuck somewhere. That my art won't become better any more, or change in any way. But it's better now, I try to take some time to go out and shoot, and at school, in photo class, we go out and shoot quite often. I am slowly finding my way back to photography, and I enjoy it

There's a special style in photography I really love at the moment. But I don't know if you can "force" your photos to look like something. You should rather find your own style, or what do you think?

Spain was an amazing experience. I just love the lifestyle, the people, the way everybody talks. People are so much more open-minded, they enjoy talking to everyone. Even if they don't know you.
But I hate traveling in groups, and I hate tourist shops, tourist attractions, tourist busses. When I take photos, I want to get a feeling of a special place, I need to watch the people... that's impossible when you have a time limit and try to see as many things as possible in very short time... I have to say I hate "sightseeing" - instead of passing by twenty famous buildings, taking a photo in front and going on, you should rather stop by at one, sit down, take your time... I hope you get what I mean

On top of that, the batteries of my camera were discharged on the first day and I managed to buy a new one on the last. So I only took some photos with my Holga
